{ Fast Approaching... }

This whole thing is still a bit surreal to me. Two months ago, a studio was a distant dream. Two days ago, I walked into my studio for the first time. Two days from now, we'll be ready to open that studio to the public. It never ceases to amaze me how things have a way of working themselves out when you're on the right path.

I'm trying to take a break today from the hustle and bustle of preparations, shopping, furnishing, setting up. It's hard when I keep looking at my ever-growing to do list, but I know I need to take some time to breathe and refocus. I've got some great jazz playing - I have yet to get myself into a situation that a healthy dose of Ella can't remedy - and I wanted to take a moment to gather my thoughts. I'm excited beyond description, and I cannot wait to officially open my studio.

We are having an open house for our Grand Opening. It will be this Thursday, November 2. Ribbon cutting ceremony is scheduled for 9:30 am, and we'll be there all day until 5:00 if you have a chance to stop by and check it out! I would love to see you there! We're holding a drawing for a free session with an 8x10 print, so don't forget to sign up for that if you come.
